individual potential can unfold.

Founder

Active ZEN was founded by Kaori Ota, a former ANA international

First Class flight attendant, educator, and entrepreneur.

Through more than a decade of serving passengers from around the world,

she discovered that Japanese culture is more than a tradition

—it is timeless wisdom for modern life.

Inspired by this belief, she founded Active ZEN to reimagine Japanese culture

as a global learning platform, helping individuals and organizations

cultivate well-being, personal growth, and meaningful human connection.

Today, Active ZEN brings the wisdom of Japan to the world through education,

cultural experiences, and community.
